Basic Navigation

Use the Up / Down arrow keys (or Tab) to move between chats, buttons, and fields.

Press OK / Enter to select the highlighted chat, button, or option.

Press Backspace (the KaiOS back key) to go back — it closes the current screen (Help, New Chat, Edit Profile, Terms) or returns from an open chat to your chat list.

Chatting

Open Global Chat Room to talk with everyone, or tap + to search for a person and start a private chat.

Type your message and press Enter or select Send to deliver it. The paperclip button lets you attach a photo — it is compressed automatically so it sends quickly even on slow networks.

Unread Messages

A green number badge next to a chat shows how many new messages are waiting. Opening the chat clears the badge.

Your Profile

Select your avatar (top right) to open the menu, where you can edit your profile, upload a profile photo, or sign out.

Slow Connection Tips

This app avoids external fonts/icon downloads on purpose so it stays fast on 2G/3G KaiOS connections. If a screen looks blank briefly, wait a moment for the loading animation to finish.

3. Data Storage

Your profile details (name, username, bio, date of birth, gender), messages, and any images you send or upload as your profile photo are stored in Firebase Realtime Database so they can be delivered to other users.

4. Images

Images are automatically compressed before sending or uploading to keep the app fast and reduce storage usage.

5. Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the app means you accept the latest version.
